Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how WDW Planner (the app) collects, uses, and protects information when you use it. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Information you choose to give. You can browse festivals, booths, menus, and prices without an account. When you set preferences such as the cuisines and drinks you enjoy or any dietary needs, that information is used to tailor your experience.

Content you create. Favorites, bookmarks, and food crawls you build are stored so they are there when you come back. Depending on the feature, this may be kept on your device and in our backend so it can sync.

Conversations with Pyxi. When you chat with Pyxi, the messages you send are processed to generate a helpful reply. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information in chats.

Purchases. WDW Plus subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive your subscription status so we can unlock features, but we do not receive or store your payment details.

Usage and diagnostics. We collect aggregated, non-identifying usage and crash information to understand what is working and to fix problems.

How we use information

• To provide and improve the app and its features.
• To personalize Pyxi recommendations for WDW Plus members.
• To process and manage your subscription with Apple.
• To send notifications you have opted into.
• To respond to your support requests.

Pyxi and artificial intelligence

Pyxi is powered by Anthropic's Claude. To answer your questions and plan crawls, the content of your requests is sent to Anthropic to generate a response and is handled under their terms. We use this only to provide Pyxi's features.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted providers, including Apple for app distribution and subscriptions, Anthropic for Pyxi, and analytics and crash-reporting tools. Each provider handles data under its own privacy terms.

Data retention

We keep information only for as long as it is needed to provide the app and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, and removing the app deletes the data stored on your device.

Deleting your account

You are always in control of your data. If you created an account, you can delete it and the information associated with it at any time.

Delete it in the app. Open the Account tab and tap Delete account. You will be asked to confirm, and once you do, your account and its data are deleted immediately.

Prefer to email us? You can also request deletion by writing to hello@bing-studios.com from the address on your account. We may ask you to confirm the request so we can verify it is really you.

What gets removed. Deleting your account removes your saved preferences, favorites, bookmarks, food crawls, and Pyxi conversation history from our systems. Content stored only on your device is removed when you delete the app. Your account and its data are removed immediately from our active systems, and any residual copies in backups are cleared within 30 days. Limited records may be retained where the law requires it, such as records needed for tax or fraud prevention.

Your WDW Plus subscription. Subscriptions are managed by Apple, so deleting your account does not cancel WDW Plus on its own. To stop billing, cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings before you delete your account.

Your choices

• Control notifications in your device settings.
• View or cancel WDW Plus in your Apple Account settings.
• Request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing us.

Children's privacy

WDW Planner is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, provide a notice in the app.
